A significant focus of our work has been in Vrindavan, India. While the city attracts many tourists, this growing popularity has unfortunately led to increased litter and pollution. To help tackle these issues and support a cleaner, healthier community, we funded an FFLV initiative that removes over a tonne of waste from the streets every single day.
In addition, to reduce the impact of air pollution from school transportation, we supported the use of an eco-friendly alternative through FFLV: 11 traditional bullock carts. These carts transport hundreds of girls to school daily, serving more than 10 surrounding villages.
